First up, my kitchen...
Gabe and I headed over to the What Cheer flea market the first weekend in May and scored this Union Pacific Railroad map. Our guest room is blah city at the moment, so I threw it up on the wall to add some pizazz :) I'm sensing a "Trains, Planes and Automobiles" bedroom in the future....
I know, I know, I've showed you this coffee table a bizillion times. And you all know how much I love it. But what you might not know is how ridiculously heavy this thing is! Like "break your back to move it to vacuum" heavy! Well, we solved that problem! WHEELS! And, I actually love it even more now!
And, drumbroll, our finale... PALLET GARBAGE CAN HOLDER PLACE!
...we're working on what to call it...
So I used Mother's Day as an excuse to rope Noah into helping with this "vision" I had. We have no space in our garage for our garbage cans. So we always sat them next to our garage. However, we live in the windiest city in the world. So it was always a fear that they, and thier contents, would fly down the street. This was my DIY solution! And I think its pretty charming! I still need to paint the pallets, and plant the clematis which will eventually climb the pallet, but I'm pretty happy with my vision!
There are a few more DIY's on my list, but summer is coming so they might just have to wait.
9 more days. 9 more days :)
