I have fallen a little behind, but here is the latest edition of my Gratitude photo challenge...
#11 - Something Old - Chair - It may not look too old, but it's been around for a while. This is actually the chair I used growing up. I have a ton of memories of this chair for some reason. It's a happy chair! I can still picture it sitting at the table in our old kitchen (before it was re-done) Everyone had their spot for dinner; mine was at the end. A few years ago I decided to give it a face lift. It was pretty beat up. Now it sits in my house, and will become Gabe's chair in a few months :)
#12 - Hands - No description necessary...
#13 - Written Word - "Blessed" - If there is one word that describes my life at the moment, this is that word. I am incredibly thankful for everything I have been given and experienced the last few years. I have a wonderful family, husband, and son. We have friends to share our lives with. We have our health. We have a beautiful new house we have made our home. We have jobs we enjoy and that provide enough for us.
I admit there are times that I don't appreciate what I have and want more. But that is just that, a want. When I step back, I know I am blessed with everything that I need and more!! God is Good!
# 14 - Movement - Car - Yes this is Mom's car. I am thankful that she lets me swap with her when mine needs a little "TLC". And it's fun to pretend it's mine for a few days :)
# 15 - Technology - Camera, Computer, Ipad, Ipad, Phone, Phone, TV - Quite the set-up! Sometimes it is actually a little overwhelming don't ya think? All this technology we surround ourselves with? I am incredibly thankful that we do have each of these. I love being able to keep in touch with those too far to see often. And to capture Gabe with each new change! And I know how paranoid I get when I leave my phone at home while in the car! But every now and then, it's good to step away. To "disconnect" for a moment or two. I think I need to do it a little more often... then I will blog about it and tell you how it goes ;) Ha!
# 16 - Animals - Furry Babies - We all know I am a closet crazy cat lady...
# 17 - Memories - I couldn't pick just one. This crazy time in our lives will go soooo fast. These pictures will hopefully capture the joy and love that is abundant right now! You never know when we might need to look back and relive these memories!
#18 - Something New - We think Gabe still counts as new :)
# 19 - Best Friend - I married him :) He is the cheese to my macaroni! I am very blessed to have him in my life to share each and every day.. the good, the bad, and even the ugly ones! He has been a great partner during these first few crazy weeks of parenthood, and is already an amazing Dad!!! I got a good one!
