To Do List...

We are (slowly) making progress on our LONG to do list. We even got rid of a few more empty boxes this weekend! We wouldn't want to rush and make any hasty decisions ;) This morning I decided to do a little work outside to make it look as though people do actually live in our house! Although it's far from perfect or complete, it's a start...and successfully exhausted this lady. Enjoy!

Summer: Day 1

Today was my first full day of break...and it was a good one. It was actually quite a busy day, but full of my favorites: food, projects, and shopping!

Baby's 1st Furniture!

We were lucky enough to be given a very nice set of bedroom furniture from Noah's grandparents. It just needed a little TLC. Today, phase one of the redo was complete and the first piece of furniture is in Baby's room!

Progress!

#1 - Knobs! We found these simple knobs to dress up our cabinets, and to make them much more user friendly! We think they look pretty good :)

#2 - Guest Bedroom / Craft Room. This weekend we refreshed our old desk with a nice coat of paint. It will make an amazing craft desk for my future to do list!

#3 - Bedroom. I decided to update our bedroom with a new duvet cover for the bed. I know, some of you will make fun of me for my love of bedding, but it makes such a difference to change a space :)

#4 - Yard. We have done a pretty good job keeping our sod alive the last few weeks. It is starting to take root! Although the picture is pretty hazy, I promise it looks nice and green.

#5 -BABY! Last but definitely not least, baby update. Here's the progress from week 19 and 20!

(Cheap-o) Shopping Spree

Since it was such a nice night, I decided to stop at a few garage sales on my way home. I had a $20 bill to spend, and think I did pretty well! Baby Raptor will not have to go naked :)

It was really fun to get to go through all the little boy clothes :)

Favorite Purchase: Monster Claws for $.25

Garage Saling (sp?) might be one of my favorite pastimes this summer!

Baby Schmelzer

Today we had our 20 week ultrasound! We finally got a glimpse of our little raptor! I haven't felt much movement yet, so it was very exciting to get to see our baby squirming around on the screen! Baby looked very healthy! God is good! We also got to catch a glimpse of whether we should start buying pink or blue and...

Homeowners!

We officially own a little piece of this world! Last weekend, amidst the mist, we made the move from our rental into our BeaUtiFul new house! With the help of lots of family and friends, we were able to get everything across town and in and avoided most of the rain. We still have a few boxes to go through, and lots of decorating, but we are as happy as can be in our HOME!
