Have you ever heard the saying something "snowballed"?
That's a good way to describe my lack of blogging.
It grew and grew until it seemed out of control.
It snowballed.
It got to the point I felt so far behind that I really didn't know where to start.
So I didn't. I would get overwhelmed and walk away.
Then the other day it hit me. I love blogging. And the reason I love blogging is being able to look back at all the memories that often get lost. And while I have been concerned about doing it "right" I've missed the point. So I'm starting right where we left off.
Have you ever heard the saying "better late than never"?
That's a good way to describe my future blogging.

Holiday Fun!
The Schmelzer crew got together over the weekend to celebrate Christmas, and a little Star Wars :)
The Boys!
The best I could do with my iphone timer...
"Little Trooper"
We have a few decor additions this year. Gabe brought home his very first school ornament, which I absolutely love. And Max got his name on his stocking... With a few days to spare!
Speaking of my little Christmas elves.. One "helps" with the wrapping while the other "helps" with the baking. Oh so very helpful indeed.

Go Cyclones!
This Fall, like every year, we dedicated our Saturday's to cheering on our Cyclones. I guess "dedicated" is the best way to describe being an Iowa State fan in the Fall...
Although Mama and Max didn't make it to Ames much, the rest of the Schmelzer crew cheered extra loud for us!
This happens to be our last picture as a Family of three...
Max was apparently very eager to join the fun!
Cutest (Three year old) Cyclone I know!
Thankful.
Thankful.
So Thankful.
Thankful for all that we have. All the hugs. Kisses. Smiles. Laughs. All the love.

Happy Fall!
This Fall was a great one! I loved seeing Max grow through the months, I loved watching Gabe blossom into a amazing big brother. And I loved feeling our family adjust to all the changes of the season. It definitely had its rocky moments, but the good far outweighed those times.
