Gabers thought the geese were hilarious.  

 

But I'm also pretty sure he was a little worried they were following him.
Or his mom was the worried one. Not sure...

Well, we didn't exactly get a perfect photo... Lots of running, avoiding of eye contact, and bad lighting...

 

 

But we had fun :)

Summer Flashback: Shed Building

To Do List 

Build a Shed 

We did it! We have a shed in our backyard! YAY us! 

Building a shed had been on our to do list from the moment we moved into our house. Actually, we knew before we bought our house that we would quickly fill our 2 stall garage. A shed would be a must, especially as Gabe grew and collected more and more outdoor toys. 

So this summer we did it. I would have to say it was quite the process. I'm so glad we we're able to do it ourselves- and by ourselves I mean with LOTS and LOTS of help from family - which cut down on costs tremendously. However, I can't say its something I desire to ever do again. It is checked off my bucket list forever. 

The Crew. 

Every once in a while the most adorable head contractor would come and tell us all what to do :) 

But most the time he was off on vacation while we all worked. Typical.

It may have been the hottest day of the summer when the roof was put on. I wish I was exaggerating.

We still have a few things to finish up, like the ramp and landscaping. But that can wait. She's pretty awesome as she is :)
